This years family vacation destination was a little more relaxed! We took to the road and visited a few of our Nations beautiful National Parks and Road a restored steam engine train through the mountains of Colorado!
Mesa Verde National Park
Anasazi Indian ruins in Mesa Verde National Park dating back to 1200. Shown above is the Square House.
Spruce House near the visitors center... absolutely amazing!! They actually let you walk around this one :) This is the Cliff Palace..again stunning! we were not able to get into this one...but still an amazing sight!
Durango & Silverton Narrow Guage Railroad
The Nelson Family at Cascade Falls CO.!! This ride was amazing! It must be a law in Durango that all citizens must wave at a passing train or that they must be the friendliest people (except the man on the raft LOL)!! That has to be one of my favorite times of my life...five hours with my family marveling at natures majesty!!

Hole in the rock road side attraction outside Moab Utah was awesome..we saw Big foot, Mater and a camel named Cramer!!!
